  • I: Application Launch Screen

    Upon first launch of the garden, the application will walk the user through a tutorial. The tutorial will help the user easily define the garden’s parameters

  • II. Application Permissions

    The first part of the tutorial is to grant the application access to the various data and sensor inputs.

  • III: Garden Perimeter Measurements

    The user will walk the garden boundary. As the user walks, the device will take coordinate waypoints.The waypoints will show a realtime boundary trace as the waypoints are made.

  • IV: Mapped Garden

    Once the garden is mapped, the user will see the final boundary. The user can select to proceed to the next step. If an error has occurred the user can select to redo the boundary.

  • V: Lighting Measurement

    The application uses the device’s camera to create a lighting map. By stitching a vr environment, the application will be able to detect lighting obstructions. In addition, the location data will also be used to calculate changes in sunlight as the growing season changes.
